WOOSAH BRIDE x MAJENYE CO.

Yetunde, founder of Majenye, has always been a creative person. Her parents supported her vivacious energy by keeping her involved with acting, dancing, art, and sports.  She loves to express herself in different ways. Hailing from Valencia, California, Yetunde is a literal valley girl who found herself on the other side of the US at Howard University for college. After moving back to D.C. from Florida, she noticed a change in her skin due to the harsh water  in the region and began to make natural remedies to address her concerns and that’s how Majenye was born!  Her home is filled with crystals, palo santo, sage, and other elements that balance energy, keep her uplifted and protected. Since spirituality is so important in her life, she decided to incorporate spiritual wellness into Majenye’s brand mission. Yetunde formulates all of her products on her own and finds joy in making clean and ethical candles, skin care, and haircare.
